Templates

Templates are reusable content assets in Outreach. At launch, the safe email-focused model is simple: campaign templates support campaign and sequence sending, while system templates support system email flows such as webform-related messages.

What this area is for

Use Templates when you want reusable content that can be prepared once and used again in the right sending context.

This keeps campaign and system email work separate, which matters for launch readiness and for where a template is allowed to be used.

Where to go in the app

Go to Outreach.

Use the Outreach section selector.

Choose Templates.

What you can do here

Customers can currently:

  • create a template
  • edit a template
  • set status to draft, ready to send, or retired
  • start from blank or from a saved design
  • save a design to the workspace
  • filter templates by status

Template types and purposes

Campaign templates are for outreach and campaign or sequence sending.

System templates are for system email flows, including webform-related flows.

These template purposes are not interchangeable, so customers should choose the purpose carefully at the start.

Ready to send is a real status. Draft is not the same as launch-ready.

Enabled sequences depend on campaign-purpose templates that are ready to send.

What to keep in mind

Templates are a focused reusable-content surface, not a broad content-management system.

Depending on your workspace role, template creation and management actions may be limited.
