Sender Setup Checklist

Use this checklist before relying on real email sending in LeadBox. It will help you confirm that your provider, sender, and domain setup are ready.

Where to go

Go to Settings -> Integrations.

Look for the Email Integrations section.

1. Open Email Integrations

This is the main place to review your provider choice, sender identity, domain verification, and test-send readiness.

Recognition cues to look for:

  • Sender identity
  • Domain verification
  • a sender status chip
  • DKIM status
  • Return-Path status

2. Choose the right provider

The visible provider choices are:

  • Mock
  • Postmark

Mock simulates sends. Postmark is required for real sending.

If Mock is still selected, you should not expect real email sending to work.

3. Set your sender identity

Look for the Sender identity area.

The customer-facing fields are:

  • From name
  • From email
  • Reply-to (optional)

Use a sender address on a domain you control. Public-domain sender emails are blocked.

4. Confirm your sender identity

After saving your sender details, review the sender status chip.

The main status cues are:

  • Sender verified - real sends enabled
  • Awaiting sender confirmation
  • Sender not set

If the status still shows Awaiting sender confirmation, real sending may remain blocked until that confirmation is complete.

5. Verify your sending domain

Look for the Domain verification area.

The main checks surfaced in the UI are:

  • DKIM
  • Return-Path

Available actions may include:

  • refresh status
  • rotate DKIM keys
  • remove domain from Postmark
  • read DNS setup help

For real sending readiness, pay close attention to DKIM. If DKIM is still pending, campaign sending may still be blocked.

6. Review test-send warnings carefully

Test-send tools can help you review your setup, but warnings still matter.

If sender confirmation or domain verification is incomplete, test sends may still warn you that the setup is not fully ready for reliable real sending.

If something is blocking real sending

Review these common blockers first:

  • Mock is still selected instead of Postmark
  • sender confirmation is still pending
  • DKIM is not verified
  • support-side provisioning is incomplete

If the UI shows Email server not provisioned - contact support, contact support before continuing.
