Managing Leads

Use Pipeline to review, organize, and work through lead records in a structured way.

Where to go

Go to Pipeline -> Leads for the main lead list.

Go to Pipeline -> Leads Kanban for status-based movement.

Go to Pipeline -> Segments for saved audiences.

Go to Pipeline -> Unsubscribes to review unsubscribed contacts.

Go to Pipeline -> Import for lead imports.

Leads list basics

The main lead list is where customers usually start day to day.

Recognition cues to look for:

  • Add Lead
  • Import Leads
  • Bulk update
  • Add to static segment
  • Filters
  • Columns

This is where you can review records, adjust list visibility, bulk-update selected leads, and add selected leads to a static segment.

Lead view and recognition cues

Open a lead to review the lead view and related activity surfaces.

Recognition cues to look for:

  • Lead view
  • Sequence Execution
  • Send next step
  • Stop sequence

The lead view can show:

  • Email permission
  • Consent source
  • Consent captured at
  • Consent proof note
  • Webform submissions
  • Timeline

That makes it a practical place to review whether the lead record, consent details, and recent activity still make sense before you continue.

Segments and audiences

Go to Pipeline -> Segments when you want to build or maintain saved audiences.

The main segment types and states surfaced in the app are:

  • Static
  • Dynamic
  • Draft
  • Active
  • Retired

Static segments use explicit membership. Dynamic segments use rules and behave differently, so the app shows Members for static segments and Preview for dynamic segments.

Leads Kanban

Go to Pipeline -> Leads Kanban when you want to review leads by status and move them through the current launch status model.

This is useful for quick operational updates, but the stage model is intentionally narrow at launch.

Unsubscribes

Go to Pipeline -> Unsubscribes to review contacts who are currently unsubscribed from permission-based email.

This surface is designed for review, not as a full preference-center workflow.

What to keep in mind

Lead-level sequence execution still includes manual actions at launch.

That means Send next step and Stop sequence matter in the lead view, and docs should not describe this as a fully autonomous journey model.

Depending on your workspace role, some lead, segment, and import actions may be limited. If you do not see an expected action, check your workspace role or ask a workspace owner or admin.
