Create an Email campaign

This example shows a practical launch-safe flow for creating and launching one Email campaign in LeadBox.

What this example is for

Use this flow when you want to launch email sending against a defined audience using a reusable sequence.

Before you start

Before you begin, confirm that:

  • a campaign email template exists and is ready to send
  • a sequence exists and uses the needed ready-to-send campaign template or templates
  • a segment exists and is Active
  • email sending readiness is in place
  • credits are available
  • if the selected sequence uses , a webform exists and can be selected

Step 1: Confirm your template

Go to Outreach -> Templates.

Confirm that the template is a campaign-purpose email template and that its status is ready to send.

If the template is still in draft, treat it as saved work rather than launch-ready setup.

Step 2: Confirm your sequence

Go to Outreach -> Sequences.

Confirm that the sequence uses the needed campaign template and that the sequence is ready for use.

If a step still points to a template that is not ready, the campaign setup may save, but launch readiness will still be blocked later.

Step 3: Confirm your audience segment

Go to Pipeline -> Segments.

Confirm that the audience segment exists and is Active.

An email campaign should not be treated as launch-ready until the selected segment is active.

Step 4: Create the campaign

Go to Outreach -> Campaigns.

Recognition cues to look for:

  • New campaign
  • Create Campaign
  • Campaign type
  • Email campaign
  • Campaign view
  • Campaign name
  • Status
  • Audience (Segment)
  • Sequence
  • Linked webform

Create a new campaign and choose Email campaign.

Fill in Campaign name.

Choose the Audience (Segment).

Choose the Sequence.

Choose Linked webform only if you need it for the selected sequence. If the sequence uses , this selection becomes required.

Save the campaign in draft.

Step 5: Launch the campaign

After the campaign has been saved, use Launch campaign.

Recognition cues to look for:

  • Launch campaign
  • Pause campaign
  • Resume campaign
  • Retire campaign
  • Launch Details
  • Not launched
  • Preparing launch
  • Running
  • Completed
  • Launch failed
  • Live

Launch starts background processing. It is async, not instant.

Use Launch Details to review progress and follow what happened after launch begins.

What can block launch

These are the main launch-safe blockers customers may hit:

  • Campaign sending is disabled
  • Go to Email Integrations
  • the selected segment is not Active
  • the selected sequence is not ready
  • a step template is not ready to send
  • the sequence uses but no linked webform is selected
  • credits are not available
  • launch is async, so results are not immediate

Depending on your workspace role, campaign creation, launch, and management actions may be limited.
