Campaign Basics

Use Campaigns when you want to manage a real launch surface in Outreach. LeadBox currently supports Email campaigns and Form campaigns, and they behave differently.

Where to go

Go to Outreach -> Campaigns.

Choose the right campaign type

When you create a campaign, the first practical choice is the campaign type.

LeadBox currently supports:

  • Email campaign
  • Form campaign

Choose Email campaign when you are preparing an outbound email launch against an audience and sequence.

Choose Form campaign when the campaign is built around a linked webform. This is not the same as the outbound email launch flow.

Email campaign basics

Recognition cues to look for:

  • New campaign
  • Campaign view
  • Campaign name
  • Status
  • Audience (Segment)
  • Sequence
  • Linked webform
  • Launch campaign

For an email campaign, customers should expect to:

  • choose an audience segment
  • choose a sequence
  • optionally choose a linked webform
  • launch from draft

The selected segment must be Active before launch.

Form campaign basics

Recognition cues to look for:

  • Linked webform
  • Status

Form campaigns require a linked webform.

They do not use sequence setup, and they should not be described as the outbound email launch flow.

Launch status and recognition cues

Recognition cues to look for:

  • Pause campaign
  • Resume campaign
  • Retire campaign
  • Launch Details

Launch-state cues currently surfaced in the UI include:

  • Not launched
  • Preparing launch
  • Running
  • Completed
  • Launch failed
  • Live

LeadBox also includes a readiness banner for blocked email sending:

  • Campaign sending is disabled
  • Go to Email Integrations

Launches are async, so Launch Details matters after launch starts.

What to keep in mind

Email campaign launch does not happen instantly. The app prepares launch processing in the background.

Credits and sending readiness can block launch, so customers may need to resolve sender, domain, or wallet issues before launch can proceed.

Depending on your workspace role, some campaign creation, launch, and management actions may be limited. If you do not see an expected action, check your workspace role or ask a workspace owner or admin.
